The great city is awakened at night. The massive columns and structures of glass, steel and brick provide the backdrop for our everyday lives symbolizing our progress and power. This collection of city portraits is taken during features dusk or night lighting scenes yet still remains brilliant. -
Legal
A hard working business man stands behind his desk overlooking the city. He checks the time on his gold watch. It is nearly ten pm. He inhales his thick rich cigar and exhales a grey smoky cloud from his curved lips. He loosens his tie and unbuttons the vest on his tailored three piece suit. He checks the time again but has nowhere else to go. -
Light Pit
Taken from a distance of a construction site, the light appears to spring from the ground. It illuminate its surroundings with brilliant blue hues creating a dramatic and mysterious sight that cannot be observed during the day.This photo has been featured in Photoist online magazine.

A cold, dark winter night in Toronto. A small downtown airport designated for local and short-distance flights is asleep, waiting for the next day's departures and arrivals. -
Illuminated
If there is one thing greater than our city, that would be the elements of nature that presides over it. The city shrinks in comparison to the blinding anger of the lightening that splits the skies on this stormy summer’s night. Taken from the roof of one of the grand buildings in Toronto, this shot took hours of patience and persistence to capture (click this link to play animated GIF). -
City Of Light
This photograph, taken from a condominium rooftop presents the magnificent Toronto’s skyline at night. This view captivates the city’s great illuminating power, contrasted against the dark skies - as the CN Tower is watching over the city proudly in the back. -

Giant shapes of light, glass and concrete stretch along the railway tracks. The world's capital of condominium market is flexing its muscle. The photographer used a wide-angle lens to demonstrate the ubiquity of high-rise glass structures. The Condo District stretches from the nightfall to twilight and houses a new breed of downtown city dwellers. -
The Perfect Sunset
The sun gently illuminates the sky with a peachy glow. Its refraction shines through the windows on the bottom right, while small dark clouds arrange themselves artfully to frame the yellow fusion of evening clouds in the far west.
